To My Daughter

This little notebook is simply a collection of scattered thoughts, jotted down here and there in the hope that one day they might be useful to you.

Not everything you read will speak to you in the same way.

Sometimes a thought will resonate more strongly; other times, it may seem to make no sense at all.

But perhaps one day, by rereading them in silence, they can be a comfort to you.

 In any case, we, Mum and Dad, will always be here for you.

The most important thing, however, is that every day you try to be a better person than you were yesterday.

And that you try to leave the world a little kinder than you found it.

Every small gesture, every action of yours, will have immense value.

Always.
